1. Download m-Path on your phone
The IDENTIFYD Study uses m-Path for our daily surveys.
To get started, download the app using the App Store or Google Play buttons below, then follow the steps underneath create your account.
If you search for the app yourself, you might see two with similar names.
Make sure you choose m-Path — not m-Path Sense.
The buttons below will take you straight to the correct app.
2. Provide a nickname
Choose a fun nickname so the IDENTIFYD team can recognise you. Just make sure it’s not your real name to help keep your privacy protected.

4. Save your recovery code
Next, the m-Path app will provide you with a recovery code. This is a special code you’ll need if you ever need to access your account on a new device or after reinstalling the app.
Make sure you save this code somewhere safe, as it’s the only way to recover your account.
Please note, the recovery code is different from your invitation code. The invitation code will be provided separately and is used to access the IDENTIFYD daily surveys in m-Path.

5. Add a practitioner
You will have received an invitation code when you were invited to join m-Path. Enter the invitation code when you search for the study/practitioner and hit ‘add’
6. Notifications
Just a quick reminder, you’ll need to complete one survey each day.
You’ll receive two notifications: one when it’s time to complete it, and a second as a friendly reminder.
7. Need a break?
If you need a break or want to reduce the number of surveys, just let us know. The research team can adjust your schedule so you can stay on track and still be eligible for rewards.
